REAL NAME: Brent John Harvey RING NAME: Brent Delivine (pronounce: Dell-Le-Vine) NICKNAME(S): "The Future", "The LiveWire", GENDER: Male NATIONALITY: Citizenship in Australia, England & The United States D.O.B/AGE: March 20th, 1992 (Age 21) BILLED FROM: Sydney, New South Whales, Australia HOMETOWN: Sydney, New South Whales, Australia RESIDES: Hull, Yorkshire, England TRAINED BY: Stuart Harvey (Stu Gallagher/Stuart Delivine), Maxwell Verdi, Scott Barnett. HEIGHT: 6 ft 1 in (1.85 m) WEIGHT: 209 lb (95 kg) ORIENTATION: Face GIMMICK: Brent Delivine portrays a young, energetic, fun loving and determined upstart in professional wrestling and second generation wrestler, being the son of iconic English wrestler, Stu Gallagher (Now referenced as Stuart Delivine). Following his fathers passing in early 2012, Brent adopted some of the technical wrestling style his father taught him during his training with him, and constructed his hybrid style of Junior Heavyweight and Technical wrestling. Due to this style, Brent has an uncanny ability to speed up or slow down the pace of the match when he has control, however more then once has it costed Brent victories. Brent wears a leather jacket that his father wore during his Heavyweight Championship retirement match, and passed down to Brent after he finished his training. Brent would keep it encased in glass in his families home, until the passing of his father, in which Brent started wearing the jacket to wrestling events as both a memorial and motivation to make his father proud and live on his name. Some might consider it "pretty big shoes to fill", but Brent has heart and determination and has no intention of giving up as long as blood still pumps through his veins. ENTRANCE THEME: "They said a storm was coming" by Jamie's Elsewhere (edit; link coming soon) APPEARANCE:
BRIEF BIO: Brent was born in Sydney, New South Whales, Australia on March 20th, 1992 to English father Stuart Harvey and Australian mother Debra Harvey. Brent was raised without seeing his father on a regular basis, due to Stuart being a wrestler in England. At the age of 10, Brent was asked by his father to sit front row to his last ever wrestling match, due to Stuart's developing heart condition do to his alcohol addiction. As Brent watched his father wrestle for the very first and very last time, Brent grew a love for professional wrestling and decided then and there to become a wrestler like his father. Hearing his eldest son say this after the arena had cleared out, Stuart agreed to train his son personally and asked him to step into the ring. Apon this, Stuart told Brent to run off the ropes back and forth as fast as he could. The feeling that went through Brent at the time was an adrenaline rush that at the time was indescribable for him, and asked his father to train him and teach him everything he knew.
Brent would train with his father for 8 years, before Brent was given the green light to enter the Australian Independent Wrestling Scene. Not long after, Brent was granted an opportunity to wrestle in America for a small promotion in the Hayward area of California and was eligible to obtain a dual citizenship with the United States. During his stay with the promotion, Brent captured the Junior Heavyweight Championship on 2 separate occasions and the Tag Team Championships, until being offered a spot in a promotion called ICE. Brent would debut in ICE under the stage name "Blair Morasko", the on screen brother of Damian Morasko. Despite valiant efforts, Brent wouldn't gain success in the promotion, only to be betrayed by Damian due to Brent not winning matches and joined forces with Maxwell Verdi to form "The Family". ICE would close shortly after, and during that time of absence a horrible incident occurred to his family and was sent on a flight back home to Australia.
His father would pass away due to a heart attack , which was more then likely caused by the alcohol addiction. The death came hard to Brent, spending time away from the ring to support his family, however several months later would return to the ring during a Japanese Showcase where Brent would compete against some of the best Junior Heavyweights Japan had to offer, at one point holding their Junior Heavyweight Championship, before dropping it afew months later. During the showcase, Brent wore his fathers Jacket during his entrances and would show a more determined and confident side to himself then he had before. Brent would return to the states to compete for the promotion NGC, having competed for their International Championship, but sadly came out on the losing end. In comparison to his last appearance in America, despite the win-loss record, Brent has shown progress in his wrestling ability and showed more determination to becoming one of the best wrestlers in wrestling today.
During his stay with NGC, Brent would meet a girl by the name of Angel Warren backstage from a independent booking they both participated in. The two would talk and would become good friends which, two weeks later following the Resurgence PPV, the two would develop a relationship and would start dating which lead to Angel traveling with Brent on the road while Brent was attending NGC Events. Brent and Angel would start training with eachother casually and would later move into a house in California with eachother when they were not on the road together.
Brent, along with other NGC superstars, would walk out of the company due to disagreements with how the promotion was running, leaving Brent feeling let down by yet another corrupted company.
Having left NGC to pursue bigger and better things, Brent has set his sights to the PWR, in hopes to open eyes and turn heads, to entertain and thrill audiences world wide and to make his father proud, as he watches from the best seat in the house.
