BRIEF BIO: Mark Shinomori likes to put on a show for his fans and working the match with his opponents by using high flying moves, kicks, and submissions. The most dangerous move in his arsenal, the Mori Corner Kick, has really proven to be a difference maker in his matches, and should be feared. Even though he likes putting on a show for the fans, his primary focus is always on getting gold in his hands, and he will do anything to achieve that. STORY:Mark Gaines was a weird boy growing up, His mother allways questioned what he wanted to be in life. Mark Told his Mother that he wanted to be a wrestler when he grows up, but she never supported it. Mark's mother wanted him to be lawyer like his father, But since Mark never knew anything about him, He decided not to go that pathway. Mark Ran away from home at 19, And became homeless. One day, A Man named Master Ling found Mark laying on a street corner and asked Mark What his Name was. He responded saying "Mark....Mark...Shinomori" Mark chose a random thought of saying Shinomori because of his favorite character Aoshi Shinomori on a anime show called Samurai X. Master Ling Allowed him a place to stay at Lings Kickboxing, and told him not to peek around the training room. One Morning Mark decided to look at Ling's training room regardless. Ling caught Mark, And Said He Was Forced to learn Ling Shadow Kickboxing if he still wanted a place to stay. Mark agreed, and learned the style for two years. Ling also taught him how to do a powerful corner kick to any corner, Which Mark called it later the Mori Corner Kick when he officially got into the MMA just from posting a training video on Youtube. Master Ling wished Shinomori luck, And Mark was on his way to L.A. Mark was in MMA for 3 years, but he still wanted to wrestle. Eventually a wrestling Compony named ALPHA, saw his talent and offered him a spot, But Mark still didn't know how to wrestle. ALPHA saw this problem and offered him to train with one of their very own wrestlers, Arlen Lanigan. Mark took the offer and decided to fly out to the England to train with Arlen, And spent 3 years training with him. One day Mark decided to pay for Master Ling's plane ticket to Fly out to England to watch his training. Ling Showed up to Mark's training session, And had words with Arlen about Mark's Training. After the conversation between the two, Arlen Decided to add Master Ling in the training. Both Ling And Arlen gave Mark the ability to captivate moves easier, and to know the opponent even before he makes his move.Master Ling eventually called Mark the Kuroi Ninja. Mark trained for hours and was officially ready for ALPHA. Mark had his official match in ALPHA with a man named Darrius Kydes on April 17, 2013.
