SHORT BIO: Crimson is a very angry and aggressive individual, he is the adoptive son of Vincent Van Brett, a prideful Danish wrestler who moved with him and his two biological and one adoptive son to America at a young age.
They moved to Florida where Vincent began to work at W.W.P as a wrestler, he was a real athlete and he knew what he was doing so he quickly rose to the top, becoming heavyweight champion in only one year in the company, meanwhile the three brothers Alexander, Daniel and Ozzie looked out for one another and went to school together. They were in the same class and they always hung out together, not leaving each other behind, but one day Alexander and Daniel had to do something, the second they left, trouble found Ozzie. A pair of bullies came up to him, he was the smallest of the three he was also the most insecure, the bullies pushed him around and called him names, he tried running but they followed him, in the end he pushed back, the bullies didn’t take likely to that, one of them threw a ball in his face, it broke his nose. When his brothers came back he was sitting holding his nose, it was very damaged and he had lost a lot of blood. Alex and Daniel took him home and kept him safe until their dad came home.
When their dad came home, they had stopped the bleeding but his nose was really messed up, his dad got him to a hospital but they couldn’t do anything but give it some time to heal. On their way home Ozzie asked his father if he was going to beat the bullies up, his father looked surprised at his son, he told him that violence doesn’t solve a problem and it’s only for the weak, the Ozzie asked his father why he then fought, he replied it was a sport and not just a fight. It puzzled the young Ozzie, where does the line go between a fight and a sport?
Years passed and nothing happened, Ozzie was now 17 and was happy, his father had retired, Alexander had moved in with his girlfriend and Daniel and he both worked a local smelter making silver for jewelry. He was pretty much happy and never had any problems, but one evening all changed in the blink of an eye. They got a call from 911 that their father was in the hospital. When they arrived they found their father beaten and broken, a few angry muggers had tried robbing him but he had fought back. As Ozzie has sitting next to his father, he held his hand looking at him “only the weak fight” he thought to himself but his father was not weak! For the first time ever Ozzie felt “it”… an uncontrollable rage filled his head, he got up and left to both his father and Daniels amazement. He walked out into the dark streets of Fort Lauderdale and began walking all the wrong places, shady neighborhood looking. Every time he was approached by a group of muggers, he asked if they had attacked an old man earlier, if they answered no, he would start brutally attacking them, he was inhumanly strong, his newfound anger made him insanely strong and aggressive, he broke arms legs and neck.
When he finally found t he men that had attacked his father, he studied them, they were not weak… they were big, strong men… so he made his own connection; you are not weak if you fight, you are proving you are not. With those words he charged into the muggers, he managed to k knock most of them out, but the numbers caught up to him. He was beaten nearly to death, his face almost unidentifiable from the kicks and strikes he had taken. He was found by a few people coming home from a night out, he was driven to a hospital and immediately put into surgery to save his life
When Ozzie awoke that much later, he was not the same, seeing his brothers and father smiles as his eyes opened just did not awake any emotions in him, nothing did, being back up didn’t make him feel better, nothing did…
He got up very much to the critique of his family, Daniel took Ozzie´s arm but Ozzie aggressively shoved him back, it didn’t feel like he used much force but Daniel flew back and rammed into the hospital bed. Vincent still weak pushed Ozzie back yelling at him, asking him what he was doing, Ozzie looked into the ground then into his father’s eyes, there were no look of emotions in his eyes, there was nothing in his face, two empty sockets, he replied “I am proving I am not weak…” he hit his father, a straight punch to the head knocking him down. He rushed out of the hospital room and out onto the streets, after that, no one heard from Ozzie Van Brett in almost 2 years until he emerged in W.W.P as “The Crimson Death” covered in tattoos, a terrifying mask, odd pigment less skin and a soul made out of concrete.
He went on to dominate the division, terrifying presence, strength inhuman for his size and a style almost exactly like his father’s wrestling.
If you stand across from The Crimson Death, never look right in the eyes and talk to him, he might just ask you to prove yourself….
