"How much did they pay to bring a ring to this place?" said the young man from New York. A confused expression swept over his face as he entered the banquet hall. Being slightly early killed Seth's hopes quickly. Either people were not coming or they were just hiding. Hey, he gets food first.

Seth made his way around the ring, observing it with squinted eyes. His vision eventually turned to the food table. It was longer than he expected. Yeah, the company was shelling out some true moolah for this little event. He chuckled to himself when he imagined the big names standing at the table.

Does MONROE eat with the mask on? Will Barnett bring a comb to get food out of his beard? They were childish thoughts, but it was good for the slight nervousness. Being a "rookie" is tough. Hell, people won't know you and they'll label you a rookie anyways. He heard a lot of commotion over the different names coming about. Stryder was in. The innovator of Jaguar Shoot Style is back in an American company? Wow. 

Maybe he'll let his ego get the better of him and try to hype up some stuff. Management had to be around. Reporters are also probably on the edges of the hall, wanting to get as much information on the fed. The management did a good job of keeping stuff cryptic. It was like he was in the Illuminati or something. All the big names and all the upstanding prospects in one federation. 

[Hana Brightly]

Huffing and puffing Hana Brightly sluggishly came to a halt, placing her hands on her knees as bent over watching beads of sweat drip downward from her own forehead onto the floor. It was almost as if she was her own cloud and the miniscule village underneath her was getting both stomped on by a giant woman and getting it's first downpour of the summer. Wearing a black "Jaguar Clan" t-shirt (that was reluctantly given to her) with its sleeves rolled up, and matching black athletic shorts Hana was currently going through her new training regimen. She was to run 100 laps around the arena, followed by an immediate set of jumping jacks which would lead onto twenty sets of fifty squats. It was leg-strength training and Hana...had just about finished her first lap. This obviously wasn't going to end well. "I...can...do...this."

It didn't help that she was now less than twenty feet away from the catering table and the aroma of its cooking food began to excite Hana Brightly's nostrils. Her stomach growled beginning its conquest to crusade and conquer Hana's brain. This was just her first lap! She wasn't aware such evil obstacles would make her running more difficult than it already was! Closing her eyes, plugging her nose and breathing through her mouth Hana tried to fight her urge to murder the catering table. She could already imagine the silent, ruthless, soul-piercing stare of Alex Stryder should she deter from her path so early to satisfy her growing hunger. It was difficult enough to even earn her t-shirt...and it wasn't even personalized like everyone else's in the clan! It was as if he was embarrassed Hana was even a member but surely...Alex wasn't that mean, was he? Hana wasn't some charity case!

Without even realizing it, Hana opened her eyes and found herself less than five feet away from the table. Despite her best efforts her body seemingly took over and dragged her closer and closer towards it. True love then struck Hana Brightly's heart as she saw the cheese and crackers. They were in their snug, own little corner away from the most fattening foods on the table. It as if they were beckoning her, the cheese suddenly grew an alluring cheddar-y index finger, and the crackers started being absolutely seductive as they showered in the purest of salts. "...he wouldn't...know." It wasn't as if cheese and crackers left any concrete physical evidence once consumed! Alex Stryder's chances of finding this out were slim-to-none...unless he was watching from a distance. Suddenly perturbed by the thought, Hana looked skyward, her eyes wide in fear as she looked for any glowing jaguar eyes from lingering shadows. Turning a complete 180, she looked behind her and saw no one, nothing, no such evidence of any feline spying!

Sighing in relief, she turned her attention back to the cheese and crackers and felt her hand raise on its own reaching for them. Her glittery pink fingernails with Hello Kitty print waved, winked and smiled at Hana Brightly as they got closer and closer...and closer to the food. Saliva began to enrich Hana's tongue and her eyebrows curled with anticipation. This may have only been her first lap but she was going to end it with her own sense of pride! "IT'S WORTH IT, IT'S TOTALLY WORTH IT!" the Jaguar Clan repercussions for consuming such "junk food" now seemed moot as her stomach completely took over. "You're min---" and before she could even grace the crackers with her touch she was interrupted.

[ Oh, it's alright. I found it enjoyable. ]

His plate had only a bit on it. Some carrots, celery, and some ranch dip. He was allowed to cheat a tiny bit. A bored expression was wiped on his face. Bonilla had probably gone off to talk to the staff about some meaningless subject. It left him alone once again. How arrogant of the other wrestlers. They skipped out on this event and the free food. All of that along with the ring must have cost a fortune. As a matter of fact, he swore he saw the GM walk by with an agitated expression on his face. But he have seen him before. That's one of his more typical looks. It's quite intimidating to say the least. He stood up to replenish his barren plate. As he reached for the crackers, he heard footsteps. No, they were not footsteps. It was more like scampering. 

Once Seth turned his head, he caught sight of the source. A fairly tall female stood next to him. He actually took two steps away from her. She hadn't said anything to him. As a matter of fact, she didn't even notice him. If that was for his own good, he didn't know. She just stood there, eyeing the crackers and cheese. Yeah, he wasn't going to reach for them. The way her face was contorted was very similar to a hungry lion. Seth thought about how much he enjoyed his hand being where it was at and decided not to reach for them again. A few words appeared in his head. They were all adjectives to describe this new face before him.

Bright. Cheerful. Obviously hungry. 

"Are you going to eat a cracker or what?" Seth asked, looking down at the plethora of food before them. He did mean to be sarcastic or anything of the sort. He just tilted his head in total confusion. She looked exhausted, but that became overwhelmed by her apparent hunger. He almost handed her his plate, but decided against it. She also seemed to be on the lookout for someone. She was nervous. Seth gave her an once over. She was fit. She didn't look like a random fan that managed to sneak their way into the hall before the given time. Then his eyes landed on her t-shirt. The Jaguar Clan logo stared back at him. He averted his eyes to avoid any perverted mishaps. The girl was a wrestler. Another vibrant face to get mixed into the batch.

Her attention went from the lewd and crude cheese and crackers to an actual human being (at least Hana assumed this person was an actual human being, this totally could have been a figment of her own imagination.) His question was brash, too the point and maybe came out of sheer fear of Hana's awkward physical demeanor. It wasn't everyday that people looked absolutely frightened around a table of scrumptious fuel. That's what food is right? Fuel? Hana totally needed that fuel to energize her for her second lap, at least that's what her stomach was telling her. Not sure if the person in front of her was trustworthy Hana sneakily peered to her left and then her right. There was a possibility that he was a spy, maybe even a ninja for the Jaguar Clan that was keeping note of Hana's behavior. She wouldn't put it past Alex, he was silent and deadly.

"Hmm...maybe." she couldn't lie or tell the truth. This whole catering table could have been a trial, a trap set up by Alex Stryder to test her will and the person in front of her could have indeed been a hired gun. Her stomach growled loudly, and Hana's face blushed instantly. "It's not that I'm hungry or anything!" Placing her hands in front of her stomach in an attempt to deafen any further growls Hana smiled weakly at the possible spy in front of her. "I have a stomach of steel! HUNGER DOESN'T CONTROL ME, OKAY?!"

Hana wanted to leave the table and continue on her run (well light jog at best) but the food around her was just too tempting to run away from and the man in front of her had nothing but healthy food on his plate. A wasted opportunity! THERE WERE GREAT THINGS ON THE TABLE! Maybe she could live vicariously through his eating, watching someone else enjoy food in front of you wasn't a crime. Even if it was, it would be a silly thing to get fined for. "Hey...I know we just met...but...can you eat that and tell me how me tastes?" she pointed at the crackers and cheese, a look of absolute hunger on her face as she licked her lips. "Not that I'm being creepy or anything! It's like when you see a new flavor of Oreo but you don't want to eat them because there's always that lingering cloud of disappointment so you wait for someone else to eat them...yeah." she knew she was just rambling at this point, but she needed some excuse to stay at the table.

"Holy crap man, the food here's good but it goes right through you." Brandon comes out of the bathroom with a look of disbelief." WHAT?!, I've been in the bathroom for 3 hours. Screw the cheese and crackers, i'm going to eat some carrots or something." At that moment Brandon notices Seth who he met earlier before his battle with the toilet, and a young women next to him."Hey look someone else actually arrived, i guess it's no longer a sausage fest." said Brandon to himself which garnished an uncontrollable snickering that soon died down. "I should go introduce myself, like they said i should try to become more friendly with everyone." Brandon begins to walk by the food table, but before he introduces himself he notices Seth's face of confusion, and the look of determination on the young womens face. "Is she staring at the cheese and crackers?" said Brandon quietly to himself without giving notice that he's about to introduce himself. "Word of advice it's not so great.It's like a consumable ticking time bomb of mass destruction. Unless you want to dissapear in the bathroom, I would eat some of the fruits, oh by the way the names Brandon."

The sudden new face nearly startled Hana Brightly. If the person she was just casually talking to wasn't one of Alex Stryder's supposed spies then certainly this person was! He even suggested a tale of chronic diarrhea at the expense of consuming her continuously alluring cheese and crackers. Was this a tactic? If so, just what side was this "Brandon" on? Raising an eyebrow at "Brandon" Hana had to choose her words carefully. She could create an alias for herself, derive attention away from the fact that was a stude--no, that wouldn't work! She bared the Jaguar Clan logo on her t-shirt and it would be extremely inappropriate to turn it inside out. Curse socially acceptable behavior in today's modern society, if only it was normal to take off your shirt and turn it inside out on the whim!

Of course, the only food that garnered her attention would cause tummy aches not even Pepto Bismol could cure. Of course, this new mystery person would suggest eating healthier, more diet-friendly foods. Of course, Hana would get warned the moment she dared to deter from her destined path to become a just-below-average professional wrestler. If "Brandon" was indeed a spy for the Jaguar Clan, if "Brandon" was the glowing eyes that Alex needed to keep his own on Hana, and if "Brandon" just came from the restroom then he best had cleaned his hands! Nevertheless, it was a warning. Would this be reported? Hana had to play it cool.

"Hello Brandon, I'm Hana." she declared with know-it-all dimples and smile. Hana wasn't about to get out-played! If her stomach-controlled heart wanted these crackers she was going to have to play a game. A game of wits. She wasn't going to allow this "ticking time bomb of destruction" persuade her to eat fruit! FRUIT! They weren't fruit roll-ups, so what was the point?! "And I think you're lying!" she held a pointed finger skyward, "Why would a company want to poison their talent? It's a ridiculous thought!" Mwahaha! Hana had found the loop-hole! This "Brandon" character must have been shaking in his toilet-paper-trailed sneakers knowing that he lied about these crackers causing digestion issues. PWR wouldn't dare harm their talent before the inaugural episode.

"SO...I'm sure they're perfectly fine." Hana turned her attention to her original conversationalist...whom she had yet to know the name of. "Dude, man...guy...whatever," although she wanted to eat the crackers she still had to know if they tasted good and living vicariously was still her only option, "I need to know! JUST, describe with metaphors the exact taste of these things, please! And if you're lactose and tolerant..." Hana looked at the sky and shook a fist.
